I had the honor of working for Bill at WTRJ in Troy. Bill was a great person to work with, and he loved helping people grow and learn and succeed. I've always admired his courage and willingness to chase his dreams. I hope his friends and family understand how much he was appreciated and loved in Troy. Working with Bill, it was clear he loved his community, he loved his family, and he dearly loved his Bride, Helen.

Bill kept Tom and me chuckling from his drive by honks as we walked in our (Athens,Ohio) neighborhood a few years ago to his final posts where he’d write, “BEEP BEEP!”
Rest In Peace with your Helen, dear Bill.

What an asset to Troy the Coffeys were! I just learned of his passing. As neighbors your parents broadened interests for many of us. Introducing us to the Wilds became a special one for our family to this day. We also learned that my cousin, Joe Lyons of Springfield, and Bill were good friends. Unfortunately we lost touch as the years passed, so we can only say goodbye and thank you for enriching our lives and your friendship. Carole and Dan Kerber

The family of George Long is forever grateful to Bill for giving dad the opportunity to work for WILE radio. It changed dad's life for the better. Bill is fondly remembered for all his services to the Cambridge, Ohio community. Thanks for including photos of George in Bill's death announcement.
