Age 82, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Funeral
service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 26, 2021, at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave., Trotwood, Ohio 45416, with Rev. Percy Williams Jr. officiating. Walk through
visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment:
Jefferson View Cemetery.

Barb and my mom worked together awhile back at the Southeast Priority Board. She would light up a room. Mom Lela Estes would always introduce her as this is my sister. She is a wonderful person.

To the family of Ms Barbara, my heart was sadden when I saw this notice on the funeral home site. I'm sitting here wondering when I was going to get a call from Ms Barb, usually always in April coming from the Y, she always had such a beautiful smile and always talked about her church and family. I'm truly going to miss her. Family, The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? Psalm 27:1

I first met Barbara when I was a Wilberforce Co-op student with the City of Dayton's, then Department of Housing and Neighborhood Affairs. At that time I believe she was with Inner-West Priority Board. Barbara and the entire staff of HNA gave me the utmost respect as I served in the position of Administrative Affairs. I shall always remember the joy of serving with all of them. My prayers are for comfort for the family.
