I was a daughter in law. Mr. Crittenton was always very nice to me. Over the years I have known him, he was always an out standing Father-in-law. He will be truly missed.

Uncle James will truly be missed. He and daddy were so close, he’d come to the house for what I thought was a fishing trip but they’d end up working on some project in the basement instead. They both could fix or make nearly anything.
It would take uncle James a while to finish a story because he was never in a hurry but it was always worth waiting for. The brothers are back together again and although we’ll miss uncle, I know he’s in good hands. Love you always

We always called him, "Roy" but never knew why! Having the same relatives was fun and not one person can remember the reason some nicknames started.
James was SO friendly, with a smile that melted your heart and a personality that captivated everyone. He is loved by many and we miss him, too.
Praying for Peace and Comfort. In the precious name of my Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
