May God's love and grace always be with you.
My Aunt Myrtle filled our lives with happiness and sweet feelings that we will carry in our hearts forever.
Those who have shown us love, brought us joy, and made us laught, have given us the lasting gifts of a beautiful life and blessed our memories forever.
When someone you love becomes a memory, that memory becomes a treasure.
Aunt Myrtle created memories that we will share forever. Memories we often recall
Her memory is my keepsake.
You added laughter to my heart and love and blessings to my soul.
What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becones part of us.
Our phone conversations were priceless. She could always answer all of my unanswered questions. I had the privilege of hearing the history and stories that came with my questions.
We could duscuss anything. It came so natural for both of us.
Whenever I spoke with her, she would be my reason for smiling.
I always felt clise to my mom when I had the pleadure to talk to her.
My mom would so enjoy their time together when Aunt Myrtle would come and spend a week, sometimes more, with her.
I remember they would say, " They
painted the town, everyday. "
I never questioned just what they did. With the two of them together, I can only imagine !!!
They did tell me about the time
Victor Newman from " The Young and Restless " soap opera came to
Proffit's Dept. store in Oak Ridge.
Si, Aunt Myrtle drove all the way down ans she and mom sat on his lap and got their picture taken with him.
They enjoyed each other's company so much.
I remember growing up and Aunt Myrtle would visit. She always made me homemade potato soup.
It was the best !!!
Aunt Myrtle was so independent, with a world of knowledge and wisdom and had such a great sense of humor.
She always spoke of being able to drive her car again. Well, Aunt Myrtle------ drive that car.
Maybe one day you can take me along for a ride. We will paint the town.
As I, myself speak in the echos of mt words. I hear myself saying,
" That's my Aunt Myrtle, she's a hoot ".
