Please accept my deepest sympathy on the loss of Jim. He was such a kind, thoughtful and wonderful neighbor, always taking care of mom's snowy sidewalks after my dad passed away. I'll always remember him tending the yard and keeping it beautiful. Rest in peace Jim, and also, thank you for your service sir.

Grandpa, we always joked it would take a train to take you out.... from the military, agent orange, brain tumor, the first time you had the cancer and went into remission... I told you it would take a train to take you out. We laughed so hard and being the selfless person you are instead of agreeing it would take a train to take you out you just said you thank the lord all has worked out and he's taken care of you through it all. Every time we talked you made sure I didn't worry telling me everything was fine and working itself out although now I realize you were saying that for me... that's just the man you are. You are a fighter and a strong man... a great role model whom I'm proud to call my grandpa. Although you are so much more (an amazing brother, protector, husband, dad etc) you are an amazing loving grandfather and great grandfather to Des, myself, and our kids... as I'm sure many others did my family adored you. I knew the day would come as all days come but not so soon... We created many memories I'll never forget and you were there for my family and I more than I could ever thank you for... As I told you multiple times I was never upset when you would come and go as I understood you wanted time with your family but you loved Maggie and needed to be down there with her too... I'm glad you were happy and got to live out the final years of your life with your love Maggie whom was there for you by your side through it all to give you the love you deserved and I'll cherish every moment I had with you and every lesson learned from you. This isn't goodbye this is until we meet again in Heaven. I love you grandpa. We love you. Thank you... for everything.
