Truiano, Frank J. COLONIE Frank J. Truiano, 95 of Colonie, died Friday, July 9, 2021. Born in West Albany on January 21, 1926, he was the son of the late James and Theresa Truiano. Frank was a graduate of Vincentian Institute and attended Siena College before graduating from Albany Business College. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force serving from July 1944 to July 1946. From September 1949 until May 1986 he was employed as a premium auditor for the Continental Insurance Company. Frank was dedicated to his family, the life of every party and enjoyed spending time at his summer home in Lake George. He also enjoyed golf and bowling and was a member of the West Albany Italian Benevolent Society and former 50-year member of the Colonie Elks #2192. Frank married his loving wife Rose Urbano Truiano on October 26, 1957, and she died on October 26, 2018, their 61st wedding anniversary. Frank was the father of Donna Truiano, Nancy Collins and the late Jacqueline Truiano; father-in-law of the late Stephen Collins; grandfather of Jennifer Collins. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 13, from the Reilly & Son Funeral Home, Colonie and at 10 a.m. in Christ Our Light Church, 1 Maria Dr., Loudonville. Burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. reillyandson.com
