Mamie L. Allen, 91, of Springfield, Ohio, passed away
August 13, 2021. A walk-through visitation is Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 4-5 p.m. in the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. A private funeral service will follow for family and
invited friends. Burial will be Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at 11 a.m. in Rose Hill Burial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Dayton Children's Hospital. Arrangements by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.

I have had you on my mind lately! I use to see you at Krogers in Springfield...I had not seen you for years!
I had thought about going past your house where I knew you last lived.
YOU MADE MY TEACHING YEARS AT EMERSON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! You loved the children! You were willing to do everything for everyone..Principals, teachers, parents, etc....EVERYONE! You were everyone's right hand girl! ALWAYS, ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP!...DURING SCHOOL...AFTER SCHOOL....You really gave of yourself to the children...anything to help!
Every school should have a MAMIE ALLEN!!!!
You also went to my Aunt Mary's church and were faithful....I am just heartbroken that I did not know you were sick or had passed away!..Your son's name just came to my mind....JOHNNIE....He made you happy in your life...I am happy about that...I could never say enough wonderful things about you and how you lived your Christian life...I know you are with GOD! That makes me feel better! You are etched in my heart for ever during my early teaching years at Emerson Elementary School,Springfield, Ohio.. We would say all the time...ASK MAMIE..SHE WOULD DO IT..OR SHE WOULD KNOW....I just loved you!!...Rest in Heaven, Mamie!..YOU WERE LOVED!

So sorry to hear about the Mrs. Mamie's passing. I was thinking about her recently. I remember how she was so faithful and dedicated to everything that she did. She will be deeply missed. Sincerest sympathy to you and family.
