Brian Kitwood Obituary
Kitwood Brian Newsham of Bramley and Horsforth,
sadly passed away on
Monday 30th August
with his family by his side.
Dear and much missed husband of Joyce, proud father of Sarah and James and a loving grandpa to
Abigail, Emily, Ben and Grace and brother of the late Beryl.
Educated at Broad Lane Primary School and West Leeds High School, where he was Hook House Captain; an outstanding sportsman being both cricket and rugby School Captain.
A Yorkshire Rugby Union trialist and for many years a member of the West Leeds High School Old Boys RUFC team, who were Yorkshire Cup winners.
He also played in RAF rugby teams during his national service.
The funeral service will be held at
St Peter's Church, Rawdon on
Thursday 16th September at 1.00pm.
Family flowers only. Donations gratefully appreciated for the University of Newcastle to support their clinical research into Alzheimer's and Parkinson Diseases. A collection plate will be available in church.
