I grew up with Matt and Rose. If you know either of them, then you know what kind of Father / Dad, David was. He put family first and treated the kids in the neighborhood as if they were his own. David's work ethic was something to be admired. He retired from Kelsey Hayes, which was an aircraft parts manufacturer from the 1939 to the early 1990's. He then opened his own military surplus store, Dabec GI Joe's Army Surplus, in Springfield, Ohio. David was a resourceful charismatic person who was skilled at just about everything. David, I know you are missed and dearly loved. I'll say a prayer for you and the family and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.
