Flora Seafield Obituary
(née MacGregor) Formerly of Sunderland, bravely borne, suddenly but peacefully at home in Nottingham after a courageous, dignified fight on 25th October aged 75 years.
A beloved daughter of the late Edna and Robert, former wife of the late Denny, devoted mam to Marie, Karen and the late Gary, adored nana to Gary, Lewis, Reece, Lewis, Lindon and Niall, great-grandma to Remy, Jake and Alfie and a much loved sister, aunty and friend to many.
Friends please meet at Sunderland Crematorium on Thursday 11th November at 12.30pm followed by a burial at Bishopwearmouth Cemetery.
A celebration of Flora's life will be held at the Broadway. A touch of colour and sparkle is welcome.
Flowers welcome and a collection plate for the charity MIND if desired. Any enquiries to

Flora you were the heart and soul of the Treatment Unit. You cared for everyone, patients and colleagues alike. Always there with a cuppa and a smile. Mam, there will never be no words to describe your worth to me and my boys... we were luck to have you in Sunderland for 34 years, My boys adored their nana and we were lost without you when you moved away, but we understood you needed a fresh start, after all you had been thru. We feel so lucky that we got them extra 4 months with you, being the strong person that you are, you prooved the doctors wrong and fought a dignifed courageous battle for another 16 weeks. In that time, we shared so many memories and those special times are ours to . cherish forever. Thanks for waiting for me mam and for being the most amazing mam and nana to your grandchildren.
