Helen McLAUGHLIN Obituary
Age 86, of College Corner, Ohio, passed away on November 11, 2021. She was born on June 6, 1935, in Augusta, KY, to the late, John and Marie Persinger.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Roy McLaughlin; daughter, Sharon (Phillip)
Bowling; granddaughter, Lori (Ryan) Langdon; great-grandchildren, Maddie, Claire,
Emma, Brooks, Ella, and Wills; siblings, Emery (Anita) Persinger, George (Bonnie) Persinger, Doris Byrd, and Greg Persinger; numerous other family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her siblings, Francis Sheplar, Richard Persinger, and Freeman Workman; brothers-in-law, Ray McLaughlin, Harold McLaughlin, and Russell McLaughlin.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 16, 2021, from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Ogle Paul Young Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, 45056.
Memorial contributions may be offered to West College Corner Fire Dept. P.O. Box 464, 118 Union St., West College Corner, IN 47003 or the McCullough-Hyde Oncology Department. Condolences may be offered at

We have all lost one remarkable woman she is in her eternal home in heaven with family she has missed for so long. Helen McLaughlin
Lori's grandmother, Wife to Roy - For Ever His, Mom to Sharon - Sharon, your north star might be gone from this earthly world but she will guide you, Grandma to Lori but she was so much more- there to support when needed a 2nd mom, Great Grandma to her 6 Great Grandchildren Maddie, Claire, Emma, Brooks, Ella, Wills, who all have wonderful loving and cherished memories of this funny jokester, story teller and the best cook, she was only the best fried chicken cook ever! I am not sure she ever met a stranger, if she did she welcomed them with her humor and loving spirit. She lived a remarkable life and her legacy will live on in her daughter, granddaughter and great grandchildren. Steve and I are grateful to be part of your family. The Langdon family
