CURTIS Brian, MBE (Manchester / Edinburgh)
Peacefully, at home in Edinburgh, on Thursday, November 11, 2021, Brian, husband to the late Ann, father of Tim, Hazel and Steve and partner to Doreen. Brian worked for British Telecom, he was a Local Preacher for the Methodist Church, founding chairman of Cycling Scotland, CTC Councillor for Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Rest of the World and CTC tour leader. A private graveside service will be held for Brian's family at Binning Memorial Wood, on Friday, November 26, with an open Thanksgiving celebration afterwards at City of Edinburgh Methodist Church, 25 Nicolson Square, EH8 9BX at 3 pm. The service will be available online via the CEMC YouTube channel

Brian was dearly loved and will be very much missed by his family, who have been pleased to hear from so many people about the positive impact that he had on their lives through preaching and cycling.

We are Sorry to hear about the sad passing of Brian. My condolances to the family. Both Brian and Ann had been neighbours for many years and always loved to hear Brian's cycling and travelling stories...particularly at this time of year when he would put pen to paper and give us a short synopsis of his escapades over the last 12mths. We will remember both Brian and Ann with such fond memories xx
