HUTCHISON Norman Neil McCall BEM (Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Boat of Garten,
New Pitsligo, Dyce)
Sadly, on Saturday, November 6, 2021, in the friendly, dedicated and professional care of Victoria Grange, Dyce. Norman, devoted husband of the late Lilian (nee Flett), proud father of Colin, Helen, Maureen and Alison and dear father-in-law. Grandpa of Ross, Laura, Gavin, Ewan, Martin, Isla and Iona and great-grandfather (great Hutch) to nine loving great- grandchildren. Former secretary/organiser of EUBC and SSC, Youth and Community Officer of Aberdeen County Council. Owner of Glendaruel Guest House in Boat of Garten, Spar Grocer/Postmaster in New Pitsligo. Awarded the BEM for voluntary work, especially with Childline. In his spirit, he donated his body for medical research to the Anatomy Department of Aberdeen University, where he now rests. A celebration of his life will be arranged for family and close friends. A unique character who led a long, varied and giving life.
