James McCormick Obituary

McCORMICK
James Allan Passed peacefully on
Thursday, 21st October 2021,
after a long fight with cancer.
Jimmy was the much loved Brother, Uncle, Great Uncle and Cousin leaving behind his sisters Grace, Sarah and Patricia (USA) and will be much
missed by his large family.
He was born in Glasgow on
15th September 1935 and was
the beloved son of Grace Allan McCormick and David McCormick, formerly of Glasgow.
Jimmy owned Two Guys for many
years in the Luton Market whilst pursuing his childhood passion
for greyhounds and successfully
raced Flying Pursuit and Colums Corner. He was a Greyhound
historian, archivist and writer.
He will be remembered for his sense
of humour, his caring and kindness
to all others. A true gentleman held
in high regard by all who knew him.
A direct cremation has taken place
at The Vale Crematorium Luton, followed by a private internment of his ashes. You are invited to send any messages of condolence and a donation, if desired, to Prostate
