VILES Julie
(Harding) Passed away peacefully in Pinfold Lodge Care Home, Hunmanby, on November 17th, in her 77th year, after a long battle bravely borne.

Julie was the much loved wife, best friend and companion for over 50 wonderful years to Norman.
Julie was a Lady of many talents: she worked in the NHS for 40 years beginning as a Radiographer.
She worked in Leeds, London, Plymouth and Manchester before moving to Scarborough Hospital in 1971. In 1978 she set up and ran for the rest of her career the Ultrasound Department when this was a very new science. She served as Deputy Mayor of Filey until her stroke ended that career. She was Secretary to the Bridlington & District Canine Society for 15 years, showed Afghan Hounds, Bearded Collies and Skye Terriers all over the UK with no little local and national success as well as being a Dog Show Judge of repute.

Remarkably talented, kind, thoughtful she bore the three evil strokes with courage. Julie will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The Funeral Service will be held at St. Oswald's Church, Filey on the 15th December at 11.00am followed by private cremation. Family flowers only, please, No dress code, please wear what you feel comfortable in. Instead of flowers, donations would be gratefully received for the Skye Terrier Club (Rescue).
