Lodge John Richard
23rd February 1946 –
11th December 2021.
Richard passed away peacefully on Saturday 11th December.
We are very grateful to the staff at Cottingley Hall Care Home
for their care and compassion.
He was the loving father to
Andrew and Caroline,
brother of Christine, uncle to
James and Hannah and grandfather to Will, Millie, Gracie and Ruby.
A gifted pianist, accomplished
billiard player and friend to many.
Richard was a quiet man who will be dearly missed for his kind and generous good nature and especially by 'Sid' the boxer dog, his companion since the passing of his wife Janice.
The funeral will take place on
Thursday 6th January, 10.50am at
Nab Wood Crematorium, followed by
a celebration of his life at
Oakwood Hall Bingley.
We respectfully ask for family flowers only, however a collection box will be present for donations which
will be shared between
Yorkshire Cancer Research and
The Salvation Army.
