Uncle Gary was very special to me. He was always there for me. Gary came to all of our birthdays even if they were on school nights. He was the first person I saw after the car accident that my Mom and I were injured in. After she died, Gary offered to pay for classes for my brothers and myself at Butler Tech. He was always giving to others from the car he gave my Mom to the many pumpkins, corn, flowers, and other things that he gave away freely. Big Boy was his favorite cat which was the brother to our cat, Scarecrow. I remember going to the Reds games with Gary, Kathy, and Michelle. We had to sit through rain delays, but Gary made it fun while waiting for the games to restart. He was a kind, respectful brother to my Mom Gayle. She adored Gary very much. He was the kind of brother that all sisters wish for. I am so thankful that I was able to spend time with Gary at the hospital and at home. I´m thankful that I was able to visit Gary last week. I am so sorry Kathy and Michelle. I love you.

I spent most of my early childhood at the Dittman's house and have many cherished memories. I can remember him watching that black and white mini tv on the kitchen table with his cat Big Boy....either eating Millio's pizza or smoking a cigar. Gary was a one of a kind man and he will certainly be missed. Kathy and Michelle I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my both in my thoughts.
