Urban REINHART Obituary
Mr. Urban F. Reinhart (Purple Heart), age 77, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Dayton V.A. Medical Center. He was born March 11, 1944, in Fostoria, Ohio the son of Cyril and Mary Reinhart. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Vernon and Jacob Reinhart and wife Mary Ellen Reinhart. Urban is survived by his three children, Scott Reinhart, Katie Shouse, Emily Bannan, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his youngest brother Richard Reinhart. Visitation will be Wednesday,
December 29, 2021, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 9:30 am at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Dayton National Cemetery following the service.

I am Carol Lawson. Mary Ellen`s sister, and I wanted to share this memory. One St. Patrick´s Day my husband John and a close group of our friends went to a local place to eat and drink and celebrate St. Patrick´s Day. I called Maryellen and said please come up here to the patio and celebrate with us. She came and we all had a fine time. There was a large group at the table behind us as we all sang and of course drinking green beer. A nice looking man with that group but it always stand up and sing "HA- double r I gag spells Harrigan." Of course all in the bar joined in. This man of course turned out to be none other than Urban Reinhart. Yes this began a love story of Mary Ellen Corbett an urban Reinhart. The following year´s just a day away from Saint Paddy´s day urban and Mary Ellen were married. A great team together they raise three remarkable children. Urban was a great dad enjoyed being involved in Boy Scouts,soccer and basketball. Hardly a holiday pass without us being together. Missed by the Lawson/McLain clan. Here we are in tears and yet the team is back together. God bless.

I will so miss my best buddy. My favorite memories are being at the soccer fields together either working or eating hot dogs, driving around looking at Christmas lights, putting on the Haunted Trail, going to plays and eating dinner together on Monday nights. Urban will always be in my heart.
