January 14, 2022
Edward Arthur Boppert, of West Haven, entered into rest on January 14, 2022, just the day before his 78th birthday. He was the husband of the late Mary Rose Boppert. Ed grew up in Orange, attending the public schools. He graduated from Amity High School in 1962 and began work at the Overheard Door Co. In 1964, Ed moved on to Pratt & Whitney where he spent his entire career. Mr. Boppert's family includes his brother Peter (Barbara) Boppert of Orange; sister Cathy Boppert of San Diego; 2 nephews Adam (Crystal) Boppert and Bryan (Ashley) Boppert, 2 nieces Christine Boppert and Leslie (Sixto Gonzalez) Boppert, his grandnephew and niece Gordon and Penelope Boppert and 3 cousins.
Memorial services will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Orange Volunteer Fire Dept. To leave an online condolence for Ed's family, please visit our website www.westhavenfuneral.com.
