Dear dear Diana & family, we are stunned to have JUST found out about Reggie´s passing. We have not been attending Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton where we were blessed to be in community with you &Reggie, one of the most beautiful couples & elegant souls we´ve been blessed to know. Reggie shared you with us all those years you taught our children in CCD. You guys have been radiant pillars in our church family. It seemed like so much has changed.... as I guess this life journey does...we only wish we had known sooner but we still thank God for Reggie´s Homegoing.... Such a wonderful man! Sending our love to you, Diana, & trusting God will wrap you in Comfirt & Peace as only God can.

Terry and I recently learned, much to our sorrow, that our dear former neighbor passed away in early Feb. We lived across the street from Reggie and Diane for 13 year and got to know them and love them.

Reggie often talked about his parents and how they made each of their children feel like they were the favorite. His love of his family was enormous. He related to me the lemon cookie contest that he had with his mom, each trying to make improvements on the other´s recipe. I feel honored that he shared his recipe for Lemon Tea Cookies with me. They are one of my favorites. He would often bring some of his Roadie cookies over to us when he and Terry were working on cars together.

I remember when Terry lent him his sandblaster. A few days later Terry went over to the garage to see how he liked the sandblaster. Reggie told Terry, "You´d better get out of here. Diana mad at you!" Terry, puzzled, asked "What did I do to make her mad?" Reggie laughed and said, I liked the sandblaster so much I went out and bought my own and it made Diana mad!"

One of the things I am most thankful to Reggie for is the farewell party he and Diana threw for us when we were moving from the neighborhood. We knew we would forever miss the camaraderie we all shared.

Time passes and lives change, but Reggie´s generosity, goodness, cheerfulness and friendship will always be a part of our hearts and we will miss him greatly. I wish we had found out about his passing earlier so that we could have paid him honor at his memorial service. With his passing the world has lost honorable man, a smiling man and a great man we are proud to call friend.

Dear family,

My heart was so saddened when I heard the news about Reggie. Truly, he was one of the most enjoyable persons I had the pleasure of working with at DCMA. He was always pleasant, kind, professional and wore a sweet smile. We knew he loved his family dearly as he only had nice things to say about each of them. Please know y´all will be in my prayers and thoughts in the coming days.

I was Blessed to know Reggie.

Sincerely,
peg
