Jackson, Daniel J. STILLWATER Daniel J. Jackson, 63 of Stillwater, passed away suddenly Monday, February 21, 2022, in Albany. Born in Troy, he was the son of the late Raymond and Jane Beeler Jackson. Dan was employed by the N.Y.S. Office of General Services before retiring. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Colleen Ryan Jackson; his daughter, Stephanie McDonough (Will) of Clifton Park; and his stepson, P.J. Bagdon of Lansingburgh. He is the brother of Robert Jackson (Carolyn) of Cohoes, Nancy Roberts of Waterford and the late Raymond Jackson. He is the son-in-law of Mary Ryan of Stillwater; and is the brother-in-law of James Ryan Jr. of Stillwater, Jerry Ryan (Josie) of Mechanicville; and uncle of Nicole Ryan of Latham and several other nieces and nephews. He is the proud grandfather of Oliver James McDonough. Also surviving are his animal companions. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
