Karin was like a big sister to me growing up in Eastmont. I spent a lot of time in the Savages home. Karin would color with me, play music for me like the Everly Brothers (that I still love), dress me up like a majorette and do my hair. She would take me to Rikes dept store for Christmas , take me to school games, and taught me baton when I got a little older. When I became a mother she welcomed us to spend time with her family and I remember her and them fondly. I´m sorry I could not make it to the memorial. My condolences.
