Gerald Edward Kelly
Gerald Edward Kelly, age 76 entered into eternal rest on April 23, 2022 at his home. He was the devoted husband of Jo B. Southworth Kelly. Gerald was born in Bridgeport on January 2, 1946, son of the late Robert Kelly Sr. of Scotland and Marie (Shannon) Kelly of Bridgeport. Gerald attended Maplewood Junior High and Bassick High School (1963). After high school, he attended Butler Business School. After graduation Gerald, met James Scalo who hired him to work at the American Agency where he spent the next 55 years until the time of his passing. Along with his wife, he is survived by his brother, Robert Kelly, Jr and his wife Sharon, his sister-in-law Sara Southworth Weir and her husband Christopher, and his brother-in-law Edward Southworth, 3rd. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, cousins, grand nephews and grand nieces. The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd. Shelton is entrusted with the arrangements. A memorial mass will be held at St. Augustine's Cathedral, Bridgeport at a future time and date yet to be determined.

Mr. Kelly has been doing our taxes for over 40 years. It is heart breaking to hear of his passing. He was a very pleasant man who always took your calls. My heart goes out to his family for this loss.
