Age 81, of Trotwood, Ohio, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Thomas Funeral Home, 4520 Salem Ave.,
Dayton, Ohio 45416. Walk through visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment: Shiloh Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at

I came to know Ruth Cook through my work in the income tax business. Her high and spirited approach to life, always added a positive ray of light and delight during our tax appointments. I will miss her presence and remember her always with a smile. My deepest condolences are extended to Angel and her Brother.

To Darryl and Angel and family I am sad to know that Aunt Ruth has gone on to heaven. I know you will miss her dearly as there is no one like your Moma. I will miss her too. She often told me that we were her favorite nieces and nephews and she was my favorite Auntie. She was a beautiful jewel and took excellent care of her family. Now, she can rest from all her work here. She's now with her parents, Uncle Willie, her sons, and probably talking to my momma. So, may God comfort you and give you peace. I know this is hard, but take your time in getting through this. My heart goes out to you and my prayers are with you. I love you cousins.
