Our life journey is shaped and aided by many personalities. We remember people who helped us, guided us, motivated us, enriched our lives and added happiness. Col Eric Lobo was one such person for me. I was completely new to the USA. I needed a friend , a reliable friend who can guide me and act as an anchor. Eric Lobo was my first friend in the USA. He was also my mentor and guide. It was Col Eric Lobo who brought me in to the hospitality industry. We both having served in the Indian Army we bonded very quickly. Col Eric Lobo had a great sense of humor, a very jovial, friendly and pleasant personality. He was hard working and at the same time fun loving. So, we always looked forward to getting together with him. He was a great Manager. He took care of his employees and was loved by them. We always remembered and stayed in touch with him even after we left Ohio. We lost a great friend and a very noble soul. Col Eric Lobo will always be in our hearts and our memories. We pray for eternal peace to Eric Lobo.
Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences to Sandra, Sharon, Bjorn and Lobo family

Recently, I heard through the vast hospitality grapevine of your passing. I will remember you always, as you were my very first General Manager at my very first job in the hospitality industry at Ramada Inn, in the first half of the 1990's. I have fondly remembered you over the years and I will always remember the things that you taught me about full service hotels. The time that I was privileged to have with you set the standards by which I work in the hospitality industry to this day.
You extended your kindness to my mother, Patty Roe, (now deceased), at the 2nd Street Market, where you each had a booth to peddle your wares, for which I am also grateful, as she enjoyed spending time with you and Sandra.
I am writing this as if you are still with us since you will always be in my heart and on my mind. I wish to thank you for being such a wonderful mentor and a very kind, special and generous man.
My heart goes out to Sandra and your children and close friends who are sorely missing you, (DeAnn Smith). God bless them and may you rest in peace.
With warm condolences,
Tammy
