Age 85, of Dayton, passed away August 10, 2022. Masonic service 6 pm Sunday, August 21, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. Gettysburg Ave. Funeral service 11 am Monday, August 22, at Mt. Moriah M. B. Church, 301 Mia Ave.; will also be live streamed. Family will receive friends 10-11 am. (Mask Required). Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Uncle John! I have nothing but fond memories of you and family when we all lived in Page Manor. I was a true Military Brat! (still am) I appreciate all that I was blessed with and will always be thankful. You, Dad, and all those parents that served made sure each and every one of us never forgot where we came from, HONOR. I salute all of you. Thank you Uncle John, may you Rest In Peace. Your niece Niecy.

I worked with John years back in that B-2 program office at WPAFB. Enjoyed every minute. Such a cool guy and great disposition, made it less a chore to go to work. A true patriot, our country and friends and family have lost a good one. May John's memory always be a blessing.
