Age 78, of Dayton, departed Tuesday, August 16, 2022. She is survived by many loving family and friends. Visitation Tuesday, August 23, 2022, 6-7 PM at H. H. Roberts Mortuary. Graveside service and Military Honors, 9:00 AM, Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Dayton National Cemetery.

I´m shocked to hear of her passing. We shared so many funny memories and serious memories. Last summer I went out and forgot my garage opener, we lock the door at a set time. I got home sat for a hour and left, I was out until 4:00 am. I was on the patio talking on the phone. I heard someone call my name "Teresa " I said yes Ms Demarus, she said what are you doing? I said well I forgot my clicker so I was waiting until the sun comes up so I can get in. She said wait I´ll let you in. I said thank you, I´m not alone mom is with me. She opened the door, I received a lecture, then I invited her to come out with me the next time I go out. We went out with a few neighbors a month later to celebrate my move to NJ. She drove to make sure we wouldn´t get locked out. I love and miss you rest well .
