Joseph BRUMFIELD Obituary
Joseph B. Brumfield III, 75, of Springfield, died August 24, 2022. He was born August 29th, 1946, the son of Joseph and Madalene Brumfield. Joe served during Vietnam in the United States Marine Corp. He retired in 2012 from WPAFB where he was a contract inspector. He enjoyed golfing and served 35 years as a Marshall at Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio, for the Memorial Tournament. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Karla; his brother, Steve (Lynn) Brumfield; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jack and Karen Baker; mother-in-law, Esther Crabtree and several nieces and nephews including Josh (Gina) Predovich. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Jane Dunn. Joe will be remembered for his kind spirit and positive attitude. So sorry to hear about Joe´s passing. I have known Joe since the first grade at Kenwood School. I´m sorry we did not keep in closer contract. I´ll never forget him. Enjoy the golf courses in Heaven Joe! R.I.P.

Joe will be missed by all CE Golf brethren. He was a joy with impeccable integrity and honesty. He was a marine to the end. God received a great one with Joe. See you down the road. Perk.

My deepest sympathy to all of Joe's family. He will be missed. He was always very positive and fun to golf with. One of my favorite quotes from Joe was " Boy's we just need to lower our expectations" of speaking of our golf game. And "if I had to practice as much as the pros I'd hate golf" along with so many jokes and stories He had. He's gone but his spirit will live on. God speed Joe.
