Jack BEHRENS Obituary
61, of Springfield, passed away August 31, 2022, in the Ohio State University Hospital. He was born November 15, 1960, in Springfield, the son of Christopher Herman Joseph and Edna Mable (Arbuckle) Behrens. Mr. Behrens enjoyed working with old cars and spending time with his loving family especially his grandchildren. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and had been employed at Deer and Cal's as an HVAC specialist. Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Melissa (French) Behrens; children, Karlos Ater, Christopher Behrens (Michelle), Jack A. Behrens Jr., Krys Behrens, Brittany Mullins (Drew), Christopher Paul, Charles Birt and Katie Birt; nineteen grandchildren; siblings, Betty Sparks, Mary Hall, Thelma Sigmon, Mildred Campbell, Ethel Jenkins (Mark) and Debra Kane (Tom); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Campbell; a grandson, Alex Campbell; three brothers, one sister and his parents. The Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM Thursday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Ray Willis officiating. Friends may visit with Jack's family for one hour prior to the services. Condolences may be shared at

Jack you were a good friend my car broke down on a rainy day called you you dropped everything and came and towed it home for me I´ll never forget it seems like yesterday I had a dodge caravan head gasket blew on it and didn´t matter what you had planned that day you dropped everything and cleaned it up for me so I could put it back together when I got off hell even dropped everything and helped me put a wheel hub on you said hey I don´t think it should take but a half hour but me and you finally got it off after 2 or 3 hours of trying I remember you always working on your cars in the garage everytime I saw you you always had a smile on your face. You will be missed I´ll never forget the memories I shared with you you were a great friend and enjoyed everytime I had with you or when you helped me

Jack was a family man,comedian, and a Jack of all trades! I know he is missed very much already and will be forever. My heart goes out to Missy for I know your great loss My heart goes out to his children(Brittany) I also know the pain and loss of 2 dads My heart goes out to his siblings Deb I know the loss of a brother and to all his grandchildren Parker and Dixie it has been a rough 9 months on you kiddo´s 2 papaws in 9 months is a lot. I am praying for y´all for strength and comfort
