Age 57, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away September 13, 2022. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 21, from 9:30-10:30am at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Dayton Chapel where a funeral service will immediately follow. Johnny will be laid to rest at West Memory Gardens Cemetery. To leave a special message for his family please visit

Johnny was a good and loyal friend. I sold him his first house and years later he remembered and called me for the second one. We talked, checked up on each other every few weeks. He would have done anything for me and visa versa. He was always trying to remain positive but one of the strongest men I knew. He believed in doing the right thing and not taking advantage of people. He was a good cook and a loyal friend. I will miss him; and it is very difficult to believe after his brave fight that he is really gone. Someday, we will meet again. Barb Weaks
