Russell BOWEN Obituary
83 of South Charleston, passed away September 23, 2022, in his residence. He was born in Proctorville, Ohio, on July 24, 1939, the son of Russell Paul and Ruby Marie (Daniels) Bowen. Russ retired from Teamsters Local 654. He never knew a stranger and was a guy who enjoyed life. Russ was a person who liked drinking coffee and talking to whoever would listen. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather Alden Hoke; two brothers Simmie and Eugene and one sister Doris Jean. Survivors include his wife Patricia (Patty) Bowen, whom he married in 1958; sons Russell P. (Deb) Bowen, III and Jerry (Lori) Bowen; grandchildren Russell and Sunny Bowen, IV, Levi and Jordan (Tabby) Bowen, Morgan (Ryan) Miller, Maggie Bowen, Brandon Eancheff, Janelle Burner and Tony Perrin; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6-8PM in the Journey of Faith Fellowship, South Charleston. Service to honor Russ will be Wednesday at 1:00PM in the Church. Entombment to follow in Rose Hill Burial Park. RICHARDS, RAFF & DUNBAR MEMORIAL HOME has been entrusted with the arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.richardsraffanddunbar.com.
