Dear Carolyn and family, Joe was a fine gentle soul, with a mischievous twinkle in his eye. I enjoyed, and will miss, our occasional meetups and chats at the mailboxes here in Country Gardens. May God bless you all.

Carolyn & Family--
We are saddened to read this morning of the stunning loss of your dear husband. It was a treat to know Joe all these years (dating back to the 1960s). He was a warm, bright, unassuming fellow who could be counted on for insightful and often humorous views on everything from family to politics to the Boston Red Sox. He always had a positive view of those he loved. Summers in Upstate New York will not be the same without lunch (and a pint or two) with Joe. The memories will linger on. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
