Ralph:
Sorry for the lateness of this message, but I just read about Nancy's passing in the latest C-J Vision magazine. My sincere condolences to you and your family. I only met Nancy one time, when you, she, my wife, Anne-Marie, and I shared a table at a Chaminade reunion, I think maybe in 1999 (could easily be wrong on the year). You shared with me how you had been instrumental in bringing the Dayton Dragons baseball team to the city. Nancy was herself a delightful dinner companion, and I am glad to have known her. I knew her late brother, Tom, much better. He was a friend of my younger brother, Dick, and they played together on their eighth-grade Corpus Christi basketball team, which I coached. Keep your head up, old friend. You are remembered with fondness out here in the desert. -- Bill (William C.) Treon, Phoenix, AZ

In Memoriam
And when the stream
Which had overflowed the soul was passed away
A consciousness remained that it had left
Deposited upon the silent shore
Of memory, images precious thoughts
That shall not die, and cannot be destroyed.
