Sad to see this. I knew Dave when he was Chief Resident at Harvard's' JCRT, He had integrity and humility and although he was super-intelligent among a group of highly intelligent peers you would never detect the slightest bit of ego. It was always a pleasure working with David and when I saw him many years later at a meeting in Hong Kong he was still the same person and had remembered from those days in Boston. He made the world a better place.

Sadly I am just now learning of Dr Larson´s passing. I was privileged to work with him as a nurse in Radiation Oncology at UCSF. May he RIP

if anyone deserves a great celebration of their life, it´s Dave. We shared about 15 years together as parents on camping trips, at soccer games and countless school related community and theater events with our kids and partners.
His bright spirit and abundant energy could be counted on. In later years we struck gold when Dave was able to treat our father with his expert gamma and cyber knife skill set. His abilities to both keep us informed and educated as well as being a straight talker with a deeply compassionate grounding was unparalleled. Dave´s incredible zest for life, family, good food, the arts, and friendship and have been a wonderful gift we´ve been lucky and honored to share. His humanity touched everyone. May his memory be a deep blessing for all.

I was blessed to know Dr Larson since 2015. His mastery of his science was more than matched by his humane sensitivity and personal generosity. His sharing of his life and of his love of Zheng meant so much to me. Truly, memories of him will live in me forever.

I´m so sad to learn of Dave´s passing. He was an incredibly caring doctor and loving husband to my friend Zheng. And he was a devoted father to his children. I´m grateful I got to know him, if only for a short time.

He was a great Board member and Consultant for our company, American Shared Hospital Services. We will miss him.
