You have my condolences on the passing of Bob Bradford. As a High School (Bellbrook and Belmont) and Junior High (Jefferson Twp) coach, I was always pleased to see Bob as our referee. He was fair, friendly, and always set a great example of sportsmanship. He taught and influenced players, parents, AND coaches by example. He was a great man.

Bobby was one of the many coaches we had playing for the Little Tigers in Springfield. He, Walt Sanford, Lee Morgan Sr., Howard Isley and so many more poured into many of our lives when we were kids and we are so much better for it. He did not have to do it, he chose to do it. Because of men like Bobby, I have life-long friends and classmates that I can reconnect with and share great stories and have a appreciation for being able to play the game of football the way it was taught to him. Thank you Bobby for not only that, but your love for sports to the point that you became an official for many games after coaching. RIP!!!!

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Bradford. I will cherish the memories I have of my Dad (Doug Miller) and Bobby talking on the phone for hours about basketball referee rules. His laugh was a beautiful sound and so very contagious. He always made me smile. I am so thankful I got to see him at my Dad's funeral and that he made the trip on such cold day. They were the best of friends. His contributions to youth athletics will always be remembered. May God give you peace and comfort during this sad time.
