My husband Stephen Connair and I would like to extend our deepest sympathy to Meredith and all the family of Cousin Jim. We were so saddened to hear of his sudden and unexpected death. He was one of the brightest and ethical and honest people we have ever known. We are so sorry that since we lived far from Dayton the past several years that we did not get to visit Cousins Jim and Meredith as often as we would have liked. We mourn the many conversations that we could have had. Jim knew so many family stories, now all that Knowledge is gone. Alas, Cousin Jim passed away way too soon. So much left unsaid and so much we could have shared.
I loved attending family functions with the Levinson and Matusoff family while growing up in Dayton. I miss those days.
Cousin Jim and I shared a birth date only a day apart and I was almost born on June 7th, his birthday. I was born a little past midnight on June 8th. We enjoyed reaching out to each other on our special day. I also visited Tinkertown, one of his favorite places, and I never got to share that fact with him.
We will miss you so much, Cousin Jimmie. There will never be anyone like you! May God comfort you—Meredith, Joel and Stephen and all the family. You will be reunited with your loved one some day!
Love, your cousins, Karen and Stephen Connair

Meredith and family. I was saddened to hear of Jim's passing. I truly enjoyed working with him during his years at Coolidge Wall. He was kind, thoughtful and a great lawyer! Thinking of you.

Meredith, we are so very saddened to learn of Jim's passing. His legacy reflects a life well lived and shared with you, his absolute sole mate. His service to the community was immeasurable. As fellow Fairview H.S. grads Jim will always hold a special place in our hearts.
