William Valet Obituary
TROY - William R. Valet, 70 of Troy, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.
William was born in Niskayuna and was a graduate of South Colonie High School. He worked for Steel Treaters and UniFirst as a supervisor. He enjoyed classic cars and sports, and his favorite teams were the N.Y. Giants and the N.Y. Mets.
William is survived by his children, Dawn Valet, William Valet and Joseph Donello. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Amber, Austin, Destiny, and Jayden; and four great-grandchildren, Johnathan, James Olivia and Joselyn. He is further survived by his brothers, Henry Valet Jr., and Kenneth Valet (Debra); his sisters, Priscilla Diegel (James) and Patricia Ouillette (Brian), and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service for William was held privately in accordance with his wishes.
Arrangements by The Wm. Leahy Funeral Home of Troy.
