John Gold Obituary
John Gold, born May 27, 1950, died on Friday, Feb. 3, 2023, in Rancho Mirage, CA due to complications from Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
John was a graduate of Brunswick School and Hartwick College. He was a retired advertising sales executive who worked for Marvel Entertainment, CNN and finally with the CBS TV affiliate WTOC in Savannah, GA.
John was an accomplished athlete who excelled at skiing, tennis and golf. He had been a member of The Milbrook Club, Greenwich Country Club, The Landings Club, Coral Beach and Tennis Club and Mission Hills Club.
He was predeceased by his parents S. Kendall Gold and Philis Ludlam Gold. He is survived by his son Alexander (Samantha) his granddaughter Blair, sister Virginia Gold-Adams (Paul) and wife Robin.
Funeral arrangements are private.

I am so saddened to learn of John`s passing. Although I have not seen him in many years, since he moved away from Greenwich, I do have fun memories of our days at Millbrook and teaching his son Alex at Brunswick school, and my sincere condolences to Robin and the family.
