Bruce Wagner Obituary
Bruce R. Wagner, age 81, of Westbrook, died Saturday, February 11, 2023, at CT Hospice in Branford. He was the husband of Karole Scharr Wagner. Bruce was born in Guilford, CT on March 20, 1941. Bruce is the son of the late Richard and Eleanor Smith York. Bruce was a US Navy veteran. He graduated from Morgan High School Class of 1959 in Clinton. He worked for Wilcox Fuel Company in Westbrook where he was service manager until his retirement.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Daniel B. Wagner of Westbrook and Paul Cusson of Clinton. One daughter Darcie Hazuka of Westbrook. One brother, Dennis York of The Villages, Florida. One sister, Peggy Witham of East Lyme. Also, one grandchild Evan Cusson of Westbrook.
Memorial funeral services will be held Friday, March 3, 2023, at 1 PM, at the Westbrook Congregational Church 1116 Boston Post Rd, Westbrook. Contributions may be made to the Westbrook V.N.A. 866 Boston Post Rd, Westbrook CT 06498 in his memory. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Carl Swan at Hamden Memorial Funeral Home Hamden, CT.
