He was a great Doctor who took great care of my daughter. When I observed him he was nice, caring and cordial to everyone I saw. I was always glad to see him at a sporting or school event as well as just around town. I am truly sorry for your loss. Michael Hapgood

I was so sorry to hear of Dr. Rubino´s passing. In January, 2021, Dr. Rubino became my doctor as I was trying to recover from a severely dislocated shoulder. My injury was in December, 2020; but Covid was so bad, I was put in place in ER and dismissed. When I did see Dr. Rubino in January, he told me I should have had surgery the day of the injury. His task for me was to make me as good as possible with what we had left in January. His approach was conservative -to monitor me through 6 months of rehab. That is exactly what we did. I have able to resume almost everything I did before. With his conservative approach and GREAT sense of humor, he made my life what it is now. When I first saw him, I still had the hospital sling on. He told me I had to get out of that. I promised him I would take the sling off that very evening-as soon as I had a shot of Tequelia-forever there after, I was "Tequelia Makes her Clothes Fall Off"-God Blessed me with Dr. Rubino´s care-getting me through the most serious injury of my life. I shall never forget him-a really good man. Thanks be to God

I was so saddened to hear this news. One year ago on the 24th of April. Dr Rubino literally saved my life after I was in a horrible automobile accident. I was in ICU for two months under his care. He performed three surgeries on me. I had planned on visiting him on the 24th. To thank him for putting me back together, saving my life. When I received the letter that he had passed on April 5th. I wept. Although I didn´t know him personally, what he did for me professionally was nothing short of miraculous. He would sit with me and my family bedside after every surgery and moments in between like he had nothing but time for us. Nicknamed me fiesty - told me I had nothing on his daughters. Laughing. He would share stories of his family. I enjoyed him so much. I wouldn´t be here honestly if wasn´t for your husband, your father. I shouldn´t have waited for the anniversary to express my gratitude and heartfelt appreciation for him. The world lost a really amazing man. Trust that he left his mark on many. May you find comfort in the love you shared in the days to come.
I will close sharing a quote that brought me much peace and comfort during times of great sorrow.
"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." Eskimo Proverb.

Joe was the sweetest young man we knew. We loved having him visit our home, especially when Mike K. lived with us. Our deepest sympathy to the entire Rubino family.

On behalf of Patterson Park Baseball We wanted to to give our condolences to Coach Joe Rubino's Family His Wife , his Children, his parents, and extended Family members! Joe coached at Patterson Park for many years his son Joey and many youth baseball players. I remember him most for his always helping with any thing needed and in a way that was so selfless and kind! He often would come by the concession stand and ask if There was anything I needed with getting the teams ready to play ! Coach Joe and his son Joey stopped by the concession stand when Joey had played his last tournament for the lower level 11 and 12year olds to say Thank you and it touched me so deeply and I have never forgot it! He was a Great coach but more than that he was a great, kind and caring Man! We will miss him !

I am so sorry to hear about Dr. Rubino. He repaired both my shoulders several years ago. He was a neat guy, I always enjoyed talking with him during my checkups. He made you feel like a friend. Thoughts are with you.
