Happy Valentines Day Mom! Not a day goes by that I dont think of you! We talked at least once a day and always about our different crafts we did. We had so much laughter and fun! Sometimes it´s hard for me to do crafts without you in my life now but I still have to press on, knowing you would want me to. I still laugh at silly things we did. Gathering seashells to bring back home to go through. Ha! I have a bucket right now to go through that we brought home! Ha! Fun times! I pray that you are happy and having fun! Love you and miss you bunches Mom! , Debbie

I knew Doris through the Girl Scouts. I was a senior scout and water safety aide, and Doris was the water front director at Camp Mac-O-Chee. It was during the summer of 1969, the day Neil Armstrong walked on the moon. Doris had a transistor radio and we listened to the moon walk. I have said many times that I was one of the few people who did not see moon walk, but neither did Doris as we only listened to it. As I recall, Doris' young daughter was there also. I only worked with her at the camp that one week. Doris made quite an impression on me as I have never forgotten her name. I rode back to the Dayton area with her, and she stopped at a ceramics store in the Springfield area.
