The last time I spoke with Mary Jean, she was asking what I knew of the Theus lineage. Her mother Ann Louise Theus Cook was my husband´s aunt. Mary Jean was his first cousin.
I now have finished a 300- year story of the Theus family, from the first Swiss immigrants to the British colony of South Carolina in 1735, to their westward settlement in Florida, Louisiana and Texas.
If anyone is interested in this epic journey, I would be so happy to provide it.
I am trying to get the full names of Mary Jean´s children´s families and their dates to include in the family tree.
You can contact me by phone or text: 601-832-1081; by email at ahoykt1@gmail .com or by mail, 110 Hoylake Dr. Jackson. MS 39211.
You have cousins, Jim Theus and his sister Helen Theus Gregory, who are your first cousins once removed -their children (and mine) are your second cousins and their kids are 3rd cousins to your children. A bunch are in Atlanta and the rest in Louisiana. Sounds like a party.
My best wishes and love to you all. I hope we may meet someday.
Sincerely,
Katie Trimble Breese (Mrs Frank C Breese III)
