Tommy Henderson Obituary
Born in Dayton, Ohio, January 16, 1947, transitioned and went home to be with the Lord on May 20, 2023, in Los Angeles, California. Tommy was the oldest of seven children born to the late Tom and Mary Ethel Henderson. He is survived by his son: Tommy, Jr.; granddaughter: Tomi; sisters: Shirley Tole (Hugh) and Mary Helen Henderson; brothers: Larry (Beverly); Ronald (Elaine); Jeffrey; and Roderick Henderson; and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Tommy was known by all as a singer, producer, and lover of music and people. He had a heart of gold and he was a giver to all. Tommy's arrangements are not being handled by his siblings. My sincere condolences to all on Tommy's passing. Tommy attended many music practice sessions at our house in Dayton View circa 1970. Our band backed up Tommy Henderson and the Young Mods for his "Gloria" and "You brought the Sunshine" recording. I remember him as a top notch entertainer and songwriter. He also had a very warm and friendly personality. He will be missed by many.

My heart is broken. I met Tommy in 2006. We were neighbors in same Apartment building.
Tommy to many was was a fun person to be around. He was giving and caring.
He was honest to a fault.
He loved his music and would burst out singing.
He and I shared stories of our experiences during Vietnam.
I will miss Tommy or as I affectionately called him "Tomny Burger".
Rest in Heaven dear friend. I will miss you.

My Dear Brother Tommy I will forever remember you & your beautiful voice. One of my favorite songs was Gloria. My lil sister passed & her name was Gloria. Ronald surprised me one day & made me a tape years ago. You are a Legend & you will forever be missed & to the Henderson Family.
