Age 98, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Mt. Calvary Church, 3375 W. Siebenthaler Ave., Dayton, Ohio 45406. Walk through visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Interment: Dayton National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to THOMAS FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 4520 Salem Ave.

Sister Mattie Loveless,
The blueprint of the godly woman you are is rare these days. Thanks be to God for the example women like you and my mother left for us to follow. I pray we have passed that torch to our daughters!

Words can not express my true feelings of condolence. Sister Loveless was not only my Sunday School teacher at VGMC, but also trained my siblings and I a Jr. Usher. Often she would attend the meetings, not to take over but to see to it that we first give thanks and praise the Lord. This beautiful picture of her, shows her beautiful smile. Gone but not forgotten. Rest on Sister Loveless, rest on.
