Derrill Helmer Obituary
Derrill Paul Helmer, age 61, passed away on July 11, 2023. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, Ohio. Interment at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, Ohio will immediately follow.

Although many years have gone by when I worked and had a friend in Derrill ... "Big D "... In my working career I never saw anyone that could match Derrill and his dedication, and I´ve seen many. I´m glad I got to speak to Derrill months back. He was the same as I knew him...his heart was as big as the man... my condolences to Lou and family and friends. Rest in Peace my friend,Jerry Horch
