Melvin Watson Sr., age 84, of Dayton, Ohio, departed this life Saturday, November 25, 2023. Funeral service 11 am Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Berean Missionary Church, 5900 Basore Rd, Trotwood, Ohio. Visitation 10 am- 11 am at which time family will receive friends. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc.

Mr. Watson is my father in-law and I will truly miss him. I love his sense of humor, his love of music, and his love for his family. I have a special affinity for him because we share the same birthdate and I use to call him my twin. I will always remember his kindness in scheduling me to see the Aviation museum because he knew that I loved museum. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to know him and honored that he was my father in-law. Gone but not forgotten.
