Edwin Lamar Underwood, age 66, of Todelo OH, formerly of Dayton, OH, departed this life Saturday, December 9, 2023. Visitation 9 am- 11 am Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at House of Wheat Funeral Home, 2107 N. Gettysburg Avenue, Dayton, Ohio. Visitation 9 am – 11 am. Family to receive friends 10 am- 11 am. Funeral service begins at 11 am. Interment Woodland Cemetery.

To the Underwood family, our deepest sympathy. We worked with Ed when he worked for Dana Corp, Ft Wayne In. My husband, Earl, & I enjoyed talking to Ed & being a part of the jokes his friends told while at work. Such a kind & caring guy. Funny too! Tried to stay in contact with him as much as we could. We r very sad to hear he passed on. Much to young. God bless u Ed & yr family.

I am just learning of your passing today 12-26 my longtime friend. We first met at MVH in January of 1978, we managed a bond that endured the test of time. You were brave through your illness which took you to soon, along with your parents, and Jeff whom I loved and the pleasure of sharing memories that I will always cherish. Fond memories of Billy, Reggie, Carol, Ed Love, Rick and many other friends & family.
My heartfelt condolences to the Underwood & Moore family. God Bless You All...
