Virginia Kilburn was and will always be an exceptional person. As a child, I spent time with her family and came to know her in time as well. She always was very kind, loving, and had a great sense of humor. I will always look back on those fond memories with joy. She will be greatly missed and always remembered.

We met Virginia in the early 2000's when she began watching our first-born granddaughter, Hailee. Virginia (or Mamaw 'Ginia,' as our granddaughter called her,) was the most caring, kindhearted and loving person and her love for all children was unconditional. She always had a beautiful smile and heart. There is not a person I know who did not immediately love Virginia. She will be greatly missed. Jackie Benko

Virginia was a good cook, always had a great garden, and she shared her harvest with the neighbors. My daughter and her childhood friends loved sitting on her porch and helping her snap green beans. She was always friendly, and was a good neighbor. She will be missed.
