Arlene Levine Obituary
Funeral services were held at Anshei Sphard Cemetery on February 12, 2024.
She was born in Memphis on October 2, 1948, to the late Herman and Bertha Gruber Tupper. After graduating from Central High School in 1966, she earned a BS in Education from Memphis State University in 1970.
She taught elementary school in Olive Branch, Miss., before devoting her time to enhancing the education of her children. She was lifelong member of Anshei Sphard-Beth El Emeth synagogue, attending services regularly and participating in its sisterhood.
She moved to Texas with her husband Donald in 2013 to be closer to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crafting handmade cards and poems for their birthdays, as well as hosting holidays and cooking her family's favorite foods.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Donald Levine; her children Suzanne (Cory) Feinberg of Plano, Tex. and Joel (Jessica) Levine of Austin, Tex.; and grandchildren Brooke and Hannah Feinberg, Sadie, Lainey and Nathan Levine; as well sisters Lois (Raymon) Brooks and Sara (Ben) Wagerman of Memphis.

I want to offer my sincere condolences to Arlene's family. Her husband, Don, and I worked together at Schering-Plough/Merck for many years. Don's wife and family were very important to him. We often had conversations about spending time with family, especially our grandchildren. I will keep the LeVine family in my prayers.
