Rickey Finley Obituary
Visitation, Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 10 until 12 p.m., funeral 12 p.m. at Joe Ford Funeral Home 1616 Winchester Road, 38116. Burial will be held at West Tennessee State Veteran Cemetery.
He leaves to mourn his passing, daughter, Kirean Harper, two sons, Tarvis Finley and Rickey Harper, companion, Melissa Blackmon, three sisters, Veronica Smith, Sandra Smith Coats and Toya Braceful (Vandy), two brothers, Tony Finley and John Smith (Jacqueline), host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Wow! me and Ronnie Taylor was just talking about you on last Sunday evening, about you try to sing and get into our band back in the day, "YOU" were the one who gave us the name "The Shidells Band" from a name you had been hanging onto for years from when we were kids imitating the "Chilites' The Manhattans, The Tempree's, Enchantment, remember you were trying to sing the song "It's You That I Need" singing flat as a 20 year old beer!! you always protected me and Deri once we came to Porter Jr. High in 1973 once people found you were our cousin they never gave us a problem ever! So Many Memories!! on Mar.7, 2024 your mom Beatrice Finley came and got you and took you with her, God Rest Your Soul Forever I Love,Ya Forever Cuz!!
